Release Date:

Hey girl, thank you for being here for this week's episode. In this episode, I talked to Paulina Vera. She is the daughter of two immigrants, her dad came to the United States from Peru and her mom came here to the United States from England. Paulina is a practicing immigration attorney, and has also created an amazing community on Instagram, Hermanas in the Law, where she provides many resources and tips for aspiring Latina law students, current law students, and practicing Latina lawyers. Hermanas in the law is about transparency and talking about the real struggles in law school and the legal profession as a woman and as a Latina. Paulina shares with us about her experience through law school and how she has dealt with imposter syndrome even as a practicing attorney, one of the reasons why she decided to create Hermanas in the Law. She is dedicated to helping her clients as an immigration lawyer, but also, passionate about helping other Latina women and building a community in the law profession. Please follow her on Instagram @hermanasinthelaw
