EP#109: Black and White Thinking

Release Date:

When we are stressed or anxious, our brains can get stuck in Black and White thinking. Also known as "all-or-nothing thinking" or "Dichotomous Thinking," this flawed thought pattern can keep us stuck in a spiral of shame, blame, judgement and criticism. It also blocks our brains from seeing the potential solutions that are within the gray area of the situation. When I had a series of complications early in my career, Black and White thinking lead me to nearly quit operating. Today, I am going to walk you through a series of steps to take when you recognize your brain is following this unhelpful thought pattern so you can avoid doing the same.

Also, I've been getting a lot of questions already about the January Happy Gynecologist Group.  For those that want to make sure you don't miss out, you can save your seat now by placing your deposit here: coach-miles.com/enroll (It also makes a great holiday gift for a loved one to give you--so send them the link!)
