PawedCast Episode 340: Galaxy Rewind, OCB-Toronto FC II, and More

Release Date:

Orlando City broke its home slump with a comprehensive 2-0 win over the LA Galaxy at Exploria Stadium Saturday night and it was a lot more fun to watch than the previous four home matches. The Lions played with confidence and chemistry and were the protagonists of the game that Oscar Pareja always wants them to be.
We break down Orlando City's win, including the return of Mikey Halliday and Ercan Kara — both key factors in the victory — the awesome display by the center backs, and some well-worked team goals. We choose a unanimous Man of the Match and tell you which Lions made Team of the Matchday.
The Lions also got their U.S. Open Cup championship rings on Monday and they're cool. We would like to have one but we did not win the U.S. Open Cup.
OCB left it late but came on strong in the final 10 minutes to equalize and then take the lead against Toronto FC II at home on Sunday. The Young Lions remain unbeaten at home and a strong early contender in the MLS NEXT Pro Eastern Conference race. We'll tell you who scored and talk you through OCB's latest win.
Finally, we dove into our mailbagbox to answer your questions about Orlando City's midfield and striker positions. Remember, if there’s anything — and we do mean anything — you want us to address on the show, just ask us anything by tweeting it to us at @TheManeLand with the hashtag #AskTMLPC.
Stay safe and enjoy the show!
Here’s how No. 340 went down:
0:15 – The Lions win at home! The three DPs played (well) together! We'd like to get used to this.
26:50 – OCB won at home again but this time in dramatic fashion, overcoming two deficits and breaking Toronto FC II hearts.
35:36 – The mailbagbox had some mail in it and we love it, so we answered that mail.
