David Arquette: Episode 30

Release Date:

It’s the thirtieth episode of our intimate sit-down with some of Hollywood’s well-known actors and rising stars that just so happen to also be friends with On The List host Brett Gursky. This week’s guest David Arquette joins Brett to talk all about his career as an actor, as well as his new unscripted series “Dream School” on the Sundance Channel. He tells Brett how he became involved with the project, which follows 15 high school students on the verge of dropping out, and his role as both their homeroom teacher and their drama coach. David also discusses his new scripted series on Crackle.com called “Cleaners”, which co-stars Emmanuelle Chriqui, Gina Gershon, & Clifton Collins, Jr. Then David takes Brett back to the beginning, sharing how he is a fourth generation performer- His great-grandparents were vaudeville actors, his grandfather Cliff Arquette played “Charley Weaver”, and his parents were both entertainers. He followed in the footsteps of his family, including his sisters Rosanna & Patricia. David talks about his very first roles on the 1990 TV shows “The Outsiders” & “Parenthood”, followed by appearances on “Blossom” & “Beverly Hills 90210”. He also tells behind-the-scenes stories from his memorable film career, which includes “Where The Day Takes You”, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, “Johns”, “Beautiful Girls”, “Never Been Kissed”, “Muppets From Space”, “Eight Legged Freaks”, “Hamlet 2”, and, of course, the four “Scream” movies with Courteney Cox. David also talks about guest-starring on “Friends”, producing the TV shows “Dirt” & “Cougar Town”, competing on “Dancing with the Stars”, and providing the voice of “Skully” on the Disney Channel’s “Jake and the Neverland Pirates”. David and Brett also talk about Bootsy Bellows, the popular nightclub named after David’s mother. Tune in to “Dream School” on the Sundance Channel on Monday nights at 10:00pm.
