Send us a Text Message.Now that the Crusaders had made it all the way to the ancient city of Antioch, they gazed upon the mighty walls and set up their camps. Antioch was built on the side of a mountain, so that the city walls went right up into the hills, and the tallest tower in the city looked down on the fields and the crusader camp from thousands of feet above. This was going to be a very long siege... one that would last all the way through the fall, winter, and spring.
