After a nearly 20 year drought, Hawaii won a James Beard Award! Earlier this summer, Robynne Maii - Chef and owner of Fete in Chinatown - won Best Chef for the Northwest & Pacific region. 
Chef Maii is the first winner from Hawaii since 2003 and the first woman of Hawaiian ancestry to receive the prestigious honor.  It was amazing chatting with Chef about her culinary journey, where her inspiration comes from and how she’s shaking up the restaurant industry.
