This week we are talking to Kaytlyn Ferrando, Sales Manager at Beautycounter.  Katylyn is passionate about educating consumers about better beauty products and concerning chemicals. Having her own issues with fragrances in products, we talk about how dangerous conventional products are and how you can even end up in the doctors office with something you use everyday! Beautycounter is known for their policy work to ensure transparency in products as well as educating consumers about contaminants. On January 25th, Beautycounter is coming out with a documentary on the physical and social impact of mica. Katlyn is also a math teacher, graduating from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors of Science and a Masters of Curriculum and Instruction.
