Supernatural Japan - Episode 10: Halloween in Japan

Release Date:

It’s “Spooky Season” and we’re back! The Halloween holiday has its roots in the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (SAH-win), a pagan religious celebration. It's hugely popular in America and Canada, but its popularity in Japan has grown steadily over the past few decades. From the festivals, parades and zombie chases at Tokyo Disneyland and  Universal Studios Japan, to children's Halloween parades and trains filled with drunken foreigners, Japan puts its own unique twist on the event. Although Obon in August is the true spooky season in Japan, many Japanese people also love to party and celebrate on October 31st! Follow Supernatural Japan on Instagram:http://instagram.com/supernaturaljapanSupernatural Japan Podcast Facebook Page:https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61551918404228&viewas=100000686899395JOIN the Supernatural Japan Facebook Group:https://www.facebook.com/groups/supernaturaljapanFollow Kevin on “X” - Twitter:https://twitter.com/MadForMapleCheck out the Just Asia Podcast (Also hosted and produced by Kevin):https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/just-asia/id1674193428
