Everybody loves to buy, no one likes to be sold. And that’s because humans have this defense mechanism where they don’t want to be influenced or persuaded by other people for fear that they might be led in the wrong direction. As a leader, part of your challenge is to master persuasion so you can influence your team and sell them on the vision, the dream, and the mission of your organization. Influence is all about changing behavior, and part of that is changing the way you believe about yourself. In other words, self-mastery. Your results are a reflection of what you believe about yourself. They’re the mirror image of what you truly believe you deserve. And until that shifts, you will consistently live at the level of your belief. Remember, you don't live at the level of your dreams, you live at the level of your belief.  So, how do you build your belief to the next level?
