As the first grandson of Jacques-Yves Cousteau, Fabien spent his early years aboard his famous grandfather’s ships. He is well known for his study of sharks and from 2000-2002, and was also an Explorer-at-Large for National Geographic.
Having spent his life raising awareness, exploring and educating the world through multiple mediums about the ocean, he is now building a space station for the ocean.
In this conversation, we talk about how our natural resource bank account is going bankrupt, why we need to change our language, under water exploration with the international space station for the ocean and what our most precious resource is.
