#114: Interview with Maxwell Lux, Sr. Brand Manager, Jazwares

On this very special episode of the Smuggler's Galaxy podcast, we welcome Maxwell (Max) Lux, the senior brand manager of the Micro Galaxy Squadron line at Jazwares. In early 2022, Jazwares premiered their new Micro Galaxy Squadron line of vehicles, a 1/95th scale collection of toys that are in scale with one another. Glen and Jason met Max for the first time at Star Wars Celebration, the first place they saw and fell in love with these vehicles. Max joins the podcast to talk about how his transition from Marvel to Jazwares, his earliest memories of the Star Wars franchise, collecting in his childhood, and how that has reverberated into designing toys today. Once we begin talking about the new MSG line, Max explains how chase vehicles are selected, the process of designing toys, how Lucasfilm partners with Jazwares, and hints to how bright the future looks for this line.
