On today's episode of In Stride, Sinead talks to Ariel Grald about being named to the U.S. team for the upcoming World Championships of Eventing in Italy and the path she took to get to where she is today.       
The World Championships of Eventing will be Ariel's first time on a senior team at a team championship, and she and Sinead talk about what the experience has been like for her so far. Ariel discusses the vet evaluations and how she and her team handled the day of the announcement. Ariel also talks about her experience on the U.S. team at Aachen in 2021 and how the team dynamic set everyone up for success. 
Ariel grew up riding in Vermont and got a degree in Microbiology from the University of Vermont. She talks about how a series of fortunate events landed her working for her now-owner Annie Eldridge. Annie gave Ariel the opportunity to import a horse from Ireland, which is how she ended up with her Championship partner Leamore Master Plan.
