Born and raised in Texas, Angela's mother wouldn't let her buy the clothing she wanted until she had her own money, which led her to start working on a sailboat and eventually at Starbucks for five years. While at Starbucks, she worked on flipping items on eBay in her free time, leading to a tech job at the local Apple store. It was there that she found her love for cybersecurity and began learning about incident response and forensics. After getting a degree in cybersecurity from U.T.S.A., she landed an internship at a local Austin company and began building her skills in red teaming.
