(6) And he said to him, âI will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. (7) If you worship me, it will all be yours.â (8) Jesus answered, âIt is written: âWorship the Lord your God and serve him only.â (9) The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. âIf you are the Son of God,â he said, âthrow yourself down from here. (10) For it is written: âHe will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully; (11) they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.ââ (12) Jesus answered, âIt is said: âDo not put the Lord your God to the test.ââ4.There is Always a Way Out(1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV) âNo temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.â 5.Trust in Godâs Plan(Luke 4:13-14 NIV) âWhen the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an opportune time.
