On this episode of the Pawareness Podcast, we welcome Christy Lambert, Director of Tap Act at The Animal Pad, a Dog Rescue Organization based in San Diego, CA. Tap Act is the advocacy and activism wing of The Animal Pad which is working tirelessly to shut down the puppy vending industry in Mexico.
Christy offers incredible insights into what it’s like to rescue dogs from Mexico compared to the US, including the differences in medical care and the quarantines that the dogs require, as well as The Animal Pad’s adoption rates and wait times for fosters and adoption. She lets us in on Tap Act’s plans for future activism and how she fits in her role as a volunteer and director to her life as a third-year law student studying to be an animal law attorney.
