#61: Stories from the Run Rabbit Run

We are heading back to this year's Run Rabbit Run in Steamboat Springs, Colorado with two of the Floridians who took it on! Katie Rozar took on the 50 Miler and Steven Cornelius took on the 100 Miler! 
For Katie, the first six miles are a 4000 ft climb straight up Mt. Werner, putting the 50 Miler around ~10,000 feet of elevation. She's grinding through everything happening with her foot that has limited her training leading into Run Rabbit Run. She didn’t have the race that she wanted, but it reminds us why we run and travel out to races like this... for the moment! Regardless of all the factors, she crushed it! 
Steven placed 6th overall in the 100 Miler with a time of 19:54:09! At 6th place, you're talking prize money! Talk about being focused and engaged, Steven dealt with the classic issues of borrowing low lumen headlamps and having to run parts of the course with no light at all! He also recently won the Continental Divide 50k with a time of 4:18:25!
