#112 - Russ Maloney

Russ Maloney is the Director of Operations & Programming for KCLU 88.3 FM in Thousand Oaks, California, 45 minutes west of Los Angeles. Russ joins his former student Jimmy after spending time together as colleagues on 88.7 WICR-FM in Indianapolis. Russ recalls donating to the Indiana Pacers telethon to keep the franchise from leaving Indianapolis & sees the deck stacked against them ever winning an NBA Championship. He shares a story of working with former Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence before entering politics, when Mike hosted of The Mike Pence Show for Network Indiana. He later reveals the best live concert he's seen & the most rewarding part of being a college professor.
