We give attention to their historical settings, what themes mark each book, and—particularly with Hosea—how difficult and differing images of God can emerge in the prophetic texts.Lisa is Professor of Hebrew Bible at Oklahoma City University in Oklahoma City, OK. Lisa’s research focus is on women of the Bible and wisdom literature.
