Ladies, you've got to listen to this one as I dive into the often misunderstood world of testosterone levels in women. So many of us have been told by doctors that our testosterone is "normal", yet we feel anything but. I'm here to tell you that what's considered normal might not be what's best for you. We're going to explore why these standard lab ranges don't necessarily equate to feeling your best, and why it's crucial to question these norms. Think about it...How's your motivation? Your strength? Your libido? Have they tanked?
I'm passionate about advocating for optimal, not just normal, testosterone levels. The difference between feeling just okay and feeling like an absolute rockstar lies in these numbers. Most labs cut off at 48, but I'm urging you to aim higher – at least 50+ or for some 100 or higher. This episode is all about empowering you to strive for these optimal levels, to not just accept the status quo.
Finally, I want to empower you to take control of your health. Understanding and analyzing your own lab results is key. I'll be sharing resources to help you determine if your levels are just within the "normal" range or if they're truly optimal.
