Karen's friends call her "the people collector" because Karen has never met a stranger and loves to connect with like-minded people, constantly expanding her circle of friends. As a kid, Karen was a serial maker. She never outgrew her love of creating. Now as an adult, she can’t stop making, upcycling things and creating things. With an emphasis on Upcycling Old Furniture and Dumpster found artifacts. Karen is a wife to husband and best friend “Mark” of 30 years, a Mom of 3 grown kids and a dog that will never grow up. Karen spends most of her time upcycling old things and teaching others to create beautiful things using DIY Paint and IOD products, through video, social media, and in-person workshops. TOTALLY useless knowledge, but it makes for good bets with her husband Mark when she almost always proves she is right.
