In a conversation with Alternative Press Editor in Chief Anna Zanes, Benji and Joel Madden reflect on the different eras of Good Charlotte — and what has allowed them to create enduring businesses, as well as maintain longevity as musicians.
“I think that the idea that always comes to my mind about everything that we do or have done — the theme of what injured us, what we thought was our weakness, what our trauma was — always ends up being our strength,” Joel says of the band.
