His firm has prepared specifications for over 7,000 construction projects, 600 building product manufacturers and design standards for major universities.For AIA, Mark has been Chair of the Masterspec Review Committee, Professional Interest Area for Specifications and Library and Archives Committee. For CSI, he has been Chair of the Institute Technical Committee, MasterFormat Maintenance Task Team, and founded the CSI Sustainable Facilities Practice Group. Mark is the author of the original GreenSpec and Kalin Associates' Master Short-Form Specifications. He has taught a Graduate Level Course on Specification Writing at Harvard University and lectures frequently at national conferences.
