By consciously understanding the structure and meaning of the ritual's sentences, we can interpret the symbolism and allegories to grasp the practical and moral lessons they impart. Freemasonry provides the tools within its ceremonies to master the Craft itself, and by asking refined questions and seeking answers within, we can unlock its true potential for self-improvement.
