SILENT MAJORITY with jacques peterson
Tabloid superstar and host of the UNPOPULAR podcast Jacques Peterson joins to dive into the furthest extremities of Chi Chi ethos known to man with a complete oral history of the calamitously ill failed Japanese idol group, KEYAKIZAKA46. When a fascist militia of twenty-one Japanese high school girls are charged with the artistic duty of diffusing an entire nation’s cultural malaise, terrible things begin to happen. Sixteen year old girls faint en masse in fits of hyperventilating passion, they are attacked with smoke bombs and paring knives, they are fondled by their teachers, they fall off stage and begin to weep uncontrollably and collectively break down into public thrashing spasms as they scream and rip at their hair. Art swallows young women home and returns them as husks of their former selves. This is all real: and through it all, a singular mission to destroy the chains of society and liberate an objectivist soul to save Japan. A schoolgirl’s skirt is cut open on a Monday morning train….. “Everyone is living with something cut from them.” The loneliness of an ignored corner of society and a silent majority unafraid of DISCORD.
