When we hear the phrase, “be still” oftentimes, we can read that as “don’t take action” or “don’t move." But what does this phrase mean regarding Scripture? Today, Hannah Staubs from the Watermark Institute interviews Watermark member, Justin Powell. Justin shares that being still before the Lord is more of a heart issue than an action issue. Being still before the Lord is a daily choice to surrender to God.   Additional Scriptures in the Podcast: Matthew 6:33, “Seek first the kingdom of God…” 1 Samuel 30, Story of David’s men, and the capturing of their families. Mark 10:45, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, Luke 19:10, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”  Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God.” Exodus 14:14-15, “The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.
