Fentanyl is a huge problem in our country and seems to be getting worse. The question of whether or not to imprint our narcotics dogs on this drug is complex. Since Fentanyl is technically legal (unlike the other odors we train for) what are the ramifications to future cases? How can you train in a safe manner with Fentanyl? Join HITS K9 Radio host Jeff Meyer as he talks to Mike Kmiecik from Sheepdog Guardian as they discuss all this and more. Part 2 will feature a trainer who has experience in the field training and deploying narcotics dogs to search for Fentanyl.
