It's the fifth and final Saturday of the month of June and that means the Good Brothers are off to explore the DC Animated multiverse, reviewing an episode of The Batman titled "Artifacts." In keeping with the theme of futuristic Batmen, the hosts discuss a plot that borrows some points from The Dark Knight Returns and others from the 1997live-action film Batman & Robin and how well those are used to tell an interesting story. Meanwhile the hosts discuss visual similarities to Frank Miller's classic TDKR and how Mr. Terrific influenced the future of this universe. Wrapping things up they discuss a unique voice casting decision with one of the series' regulars and a DCAU voice-acting legend in a role that gives one of our hosts the creeps.
