294 | Everything Is Political

Release Date:

Daniel and Have Hope discuss Chelsea 1-1 Manchester United. Graham Potter made an early (but correct) tactical change at the expense of Marc Cucurella. How many items of clothes are too many to take off if you're Matteo Kovacic? Cristiano Ronaldo is back in training with his teammates. Victor Osimhen's stunning strike beats Roma, but it reminds Have Hope that Nigeria aren't at the World Cup. In the second half, should Iran be banned from the World Cup - and if so, should they be replaced by Ukraine. If a precedent were set of removing nations who've committed human rights violations or sold weapons of war to others, who else should FIFA remove? Lastly, would it not be advantageous to offer Iranian players a platform to help lift the voices of Iranian women in their country, given the size and scale of the World Cup?
