Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998)

Release Date:

Guy Ritchie enters the Halls of Shat with the 1998 feature film debut that revealed an unsanitized London to hip American teens and twentysomethings: "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels." We all expected the comparisons of Ritchie to Quentin Tarantino, but none of us anticipated where the conversation would go after that: Ash's personality trait test, Big D's tips on knocking people out, and rumors of anal beads helping a chess master cheat. Is "Lock, Stock" perfect? It might lack women characters, drag at parts and have so much English slang it should be labeled sci-fi, but the Shat Crew can't deny Jason Statham, Lenny McLean and Vinny Jones made the movie a lot of fun.
