This week As its still cold Richard thought it would be a good time to spend a little time maintaining his garden tools. This is at least a once yearly task that needs to be tackled in order to get the best from our tools.

Cleaning away dirt and rustSharpening any bladesPainting or oiling any metal parts to prevent rustOiling wooden handles so they don't go brittle
