Shannon Pipeline project

One project being mentioned for the Apple tax windfall is the Shannon pipeline project to pump water from our longest river to Dublin and the eastern counties. Uisce Éireann has already spent nearly 70 million euro on preparing its planning application. However the plan has once again aroused concerns in the Tipperary and Lough Derg areas.
