Insha Rahman is the director of strategy and new initiatives at the Vera Institute of Justice. She believes that mass incarceration is solvable. At Vera, Rahman’s work is focused on prosecutorial reform, bail, and decarceration, with an emphasis on developing advocacy-related strategies and accountability. Prior to Vera, Rahman worked as a public defender at The Bronx Defenders.
