Episode 167 - New block member feature, in-person Peloton events, Tread+ US only for now & more

Welcome to Episode 167 of Pelo Buddy TV, an unofficial Peloton podcast & Peloton news show. A new series of in-person events called “The Warm Up” will take place at showrooms across the US & Canada. Peloton has reconfirmed that there are currently no plans to sell the Peloton Tread+ outside the US. Peloton is an official partner of the Berlin Half Marathon, and is giving away a free entry. A new artist series with Fatboy Slim took place this week. In March, there will be artist series classes with Olivia Rodrigo, Joan Jett, Troye Sivan, and Cardi B. A one-off artist series class with Jennifer Lopez took place this week. Peloton highlighted several classes this week in their regular “This Week At Peloton” post. Peloton’s SVP of global communications, Ben Boyd, is leaving the company. Peloton purged a single days worth of classes last week. Peloton released a new collection of Cadent Peloton apparel. Emma Lovewell is pregnant. Tunde Oyeneyin shared a picture of herself on a Tread. Camila Ramon was featured on The Cut. Robin Arzon was on Good Morning America. Mariana Fernandez is partnering with American Heart. Peloton Studios hosted Meta creators. Rebecca Kennedy hosted a panel discussion with Men’s Health. Adrian Williams has a new partnership with Hyundai. Leanne Hainsby shared a “Ted Talk”. Hannah Frankson was on NatWest business. Sam Yo was on the Bruce Lee podcast. Kristin McGee was on the One Real Good Thing podcast. Kristin McGee has a wellness chat hosted by Samsung in NYC. John & Amanda share their, and the community's, class picks of the week.
