Episode 159 - Peloton Studio Group Booking Fee, YouTube TV Partnership, New Commercial, Jenn Sherman & Jess Sims updates

Welcome to Episode 159 of Pelo Buddy TV, an unofficial Peloton podcast & Peloton news show. Peloton has a New Year’s commercial called “Something Is Everything.” Peloton announced an official partnership with YouTube TV. There are now extra fees when making large group bookings at Peloton Studios. You can now use the auto-follow resistance feature, or ERG Mode, in power zone rides. There is a bug where some Tread+ users are not able to start new classes on their Tread. Jenn Sherman shared that she is recovering from a medical issue, so will be off the schedule a little while. Jess Sims is taking an expanded role at ESPN, and will cover men’s college basketball games. Robin Arzon is becoming a guest contributor at Good Morning America. Callie Gullickson is now a lululemon ambassador. Ross Rayburn announced a book tour in support of his upcoming book. There are new Dance Cardio classes from Jess King, Emma Lovewell, and Leanne Hainsby. A new artist series with Zach Bryan took place this week. Other artist series will include Pink, Earth Wind & Fire, and The Color Purple. Erik Jager has a new 10×10 strength training program. Peloton held their Top 50 countdown classes over the holidays. Peloton also had several New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day classes. Peloton made several small updates for the Peloton Lanebreak video game. The Peloton Row also got a few small updates. The Peloton Guide got the ability to search, along with other features. All of Peloton’s devices are on sale during Peloton’s New Year’s sale. Peloton is also having an end of year apparel sale. Leanne Hainsby is running the London marathon. Jon Hosky is Ben & Leanne’s best man. Several Peloton instructors books were on sale. Camila Ramon was featured in Elite Daily.
