UNICEF chief on the hunger crisis afflicting millions of children in Sudan and Gaza

A high risk of famine persists across the Gaza Strip with 96 percent of people there facing high levels of acute food insecurity. In Sudan, there is growing evidence that the civil war, now in its second year, is creating the world's largest hunger crisis with an estimated 24 million children left especially vulnerable.
