Episode 101: Boy Do We Love Some Trans Representation in Our Anime

We made it to 100 episode but we're still going. This episode has some cool things and also some sad things, so be prepared. First up we take a look at the RWBY Ice Queendom trailer ahead of the first three episodes dropping later this June. It's studio Shaft partnering with Rooster Teeth to sort of retell/spin off from the original series. From there we're finally delivering on some of our pride related segments this month and talking about the importance of representation in the media we consume, specifically how the LGBT community is portrayed in Anime which as we all know is only becoming more and more global. We've got a couple of good examples from recent titles on what we'd like to see more of as well one excellent chapter of the One Piece manga. Lastly we are sad to see the passing of both Billy Kametz and Jim White, two voice actors who brought a lot to the community and whose work meant a lot to a lot of people.
