Porsche snobs, 996 headlight throwback and remastered 993 Speedster

In today’s PorscheCooled Podcast Michael and Steve chat about all things Porsche of course. To begin, Michael and Steve reflect on the quality of other cars. Quite relevant as Michael is currently driving a MG in Bahrain. Have they become Porsche snobs? The lockdown is impacting Steve’s Porsche enjoyment and he has succumbed to doing laps around his neighbourhood circle. Michael looks back at the rarity of the 993 Speedster with its 2 only examples and ponders the impact of the newly launched 993 Speedster remastered by Gunther Werks will have.
To end, Steve wonders that since the 996 headlight design has become accepted and even popular again, would Porsche ever ‘throwback’ and do this headlight style again? Will it come full circle? An interesting thought that’s for sure.
