Yankees Manager Aaron Boone is about to lead the team into the October crucible, but first, he sat with Yankees Magazine deputy editor Jon Schwartz to discuss a baseball life and the joys and stresses of managing a team with great expectation. Boone has plenty to say about interacting with the media, writing superstars’ names into his lineup card every day, and the conviction necessary to deal with the precarious nature of baseball. Then, Yankees Magazine executive editor Nathan Maciborski stops by for a discussion about playoff baseball. Finally, we send it over to Yankees senior museum curator Brian Richards for another outstanding chapter of History Books, this one looking at the Yankees’ history with flags.
