Global Governance 2020 is a group of young academics, policymakers and business people from China, the United States and Europe. Robert Falkner is senior lecturer in international relations at LSE and a leading expert on global environmental politics. Anthony Giddens is former director of LSE and the author, most recently, of The Politics of Climate Change. Thomas Hale is a PhD candidate in the Department of Politics at Princeton University and visiting fellow at LSE Global Governance. Michael Jacobs is visiting professor at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment. Previously, he was special adviser to former British prime minister Gordon Brown, with responsibility for energy, climate change and environment policy. André Lieber is a research fellow in the parliamentary office of Norbert Röttgen, German Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. Scott Moore is currently pursuing graduate study in Geography and Environment at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar.
