The Lions have done it. UFL star kicker Jake Bates has, according to ESPN, agreed on a two year deal with the Detroit Lions. Bates, who is known for hitting 60 yarders with ease at Ford Field, will compete with Mike Badgley and James Turner for the kicking job. It is a job that is in flux every year for the Lions it seems.
