The North Carolina Tar Heels, after striking out on a multitude of frontcourt options this offseason, have reportedly contacted Georgia Tech transfer Tyzhaun Claude, who has one year of eligibility remaining after receiving a waiver from the NCAA last week. Claude will be in his sixth year of college after being at Morehead State for three years, Western Carolina for a year, and Georgia Tech last year. Why would Carolina continue to pursue bigs after missing on so many? Is Claude an insurance policy in the vein of James Okonkwo?
