It’s week 3 of the 2024-25 UNC Basketball Summer Roster Preview Series. In the first two installments, we discussed incoming freshmen James Brown and top-10, 5-star recruit Ian Jackson. It’s now time to wrap up the incoming freshman class with our Drake Powell preview. Powell is known for his elite and consistent defense, but his offensive game is coming along as well. While Jackson stayed near the top of the recruiting rankings through his high school journey, Powell skyrocketed from the 70s just two years ago all the way to the top 15.
