Arizona Cardinals Must Land Solid Backup QB

Arizona Cardinals have massive needs this offseason across the entire roster. What Monti Ossenfort chooses to do during free agency will start to make the road map more clear regarding roster construction and where the strengths will be. As of now, there are very few position groups that would be considered strengths. While defensive line, cornerback, and pass rush are the glaring issues, there are a few others that have immense importance for stability in 2024. One that's often overlooked is backup quarterback. 2023 was the season of injured quarterbacks and, if the Cardinals want to remain stable throughout the 2024 season, they'll need a contingency plan in case Kyler Murray has to miss time.
