Do You Cherish Your Breath?

How about you?Breathing in and out perpetuates life, our day to day thoughts and yet, according to Scripture, thoughts are but a breath. “The Lord—knows the thoughts of man, that they are but a breath” (Psalm 94:11 ESV).The Almighty’s breath of life gives us understanding to be used by God. “But it is the Spirit in man, the breath of the Almighty, that makes him understand” (Job32:8ESV). I’m overjoyed that the Spirit in us is unlimited. Our life, our thinking, is a mere breath—limited and fleeting. While the breath of the Spirit in us provides a knowledge, power, strength, mobility, and purpose not limited by our abilities. I cherish the Breath of Life within me and praise God for every minute He gives me to go about His business. How about you? What do you praise God’s breath in you for?Let’s journey together Thank You, Lord. Your ways are beyond my scope of understanding. Your Spirit makes a way within me to be more. Help me, Father, to be who You want me to be. Let me not take life for granted.  Help me to cherish every breath I take. To Your glory and honor. Hallelujah. Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves, do what it says. James 1:22May YHWH bless you, keep you, and guide you in all you do.
