In the patriarchal lens, women are seen as competitors with one another, but this couldn’t be farther from the truth. Women have had to compete with one another to survive and the role of The Global Sisterhood is to dismantle that. A huge piece to unravelling internalized patriarchy is healing the sister wound, and part of the journey is honoring our sovereignty as individuals while working together as a collective, community, and a sisterhood.  Tanya is the founder of Sistership Circle, a worldwide sisterhood movement aimed at empowering women as well as leading feminine leadership retreats and teaching women to run their own businesses.
