From Beginner to Photographing Obama, Pope Francis and the Rolling Stones With Alain Gutiérrez

Cuban-American immigrant Alain Gutierrez joins me to talk about his journey learning photography in Cuba.  From being a self-proclaimed bad photographer and quitting his job as a professor because he couldn't teach, he found himself in the right place at the right time(s).  Gutierrez has photographed some of the leaders of our generation. It's a list that includes Barack Obama, Pope Francis, the Rolling Stones and more. We talk in detail about how humility played a role in improving his work and how talking with other photographers has helped him get to the next level. Oh, and he loves to take photos in the metro.
