Release Date:

Today my guest on the I Want To Know podcast is Dennis Geelen. Dennis Dennis is an “accidental solopreneur.” He's literally written the book on that. After more than 20 years in the corporate world, Dennis accidentally fell into being a solopreneur when he found himself laid off for the first time at the age of 43. He decided to bet on himself and is now at the age of 48, five years into his solopreneur journey. He's written four books, created three online courses, consulted for dozens of companies, spoken at numerous events, launched a newsletter, and is having a lot of fun helping others do the same. Dennis is also active on Twitter and LinkedIn.Here are some of the most valuable moments in their conversation:00:00 - Introduction22:38 - Self-Promotion Is NOT A Selfish Act27:44 - The Smartest Book Promotion Strategy I've Seen32:19 - Watch Me Help Build A Brand In 4 MinutesShow Notes👉 Watch this episode on YouTubeI Want To Know Newsletter Growth PlaylistSkill Session: Newsletter BoosterUse Code Booster25 to get 50% off ($25)Spark Loop Partner ProgramMost Helpful Newsletter For Creators Twitter ThreadHow To Get Comfortable Promoting Your CreationsDaniel Vassallo / Small BetsA Peek Inside The Mind Of A Productivity Expert (Khe Hy)To Connect with Dennis Geelen:Website: https://www.dennisgeelen.me/Twitter: https://twitter.com/dennis_geelen Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dennis-geelen/ The Accidental Solopreneur (Book)Solopreneur Playbook Online CourseThe Author’s Playbook Online CourseSolopreneur Playbook CallThe Happy Accidents NewsletterTo connect with Josh Spector:Newsletter: Fortheinterested.com/subscribeSkill Sessions: Joshspector.com/sessionsConsulting: Joshspector.com/consultingTwitter: @jspectorApply to be a guest on the show: Joshspector.com/questionsIntro Music Provided By Uppbeat
