LA AG Murrill says no chance Biden will abandon his administration’s ‘signature’ Title IX rewrite despite public outcry

Release Date:

Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill doesn't expect to see the Biden administration let up on its new Title IX regulations, despite growing public opposition to the changes. “I think this has been a signature policy for this administration from the day they took office so I really don’t see any chance that they’re going to abandon it. I think they will continue to fight for this rule,” she says. Additional interviews with Washington State GOP Congressional candidate Joe Kent on what issues voters in Washington are concerned again, and his thoughts on Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz stolen valor controversy after seeing videos of Tim Walz saying he carried weapons like assault rifles in combat. "That is very specific. It is easy to forget how chaotic Iraq was in 2005," Kent said. "He [Walz] was in a top enlisted position when his unit got those orders and he said 'That's it, now I'm quitting, and now I'm getting out.' That sent a very bad message to all of the subordinates in his unit who looked up to him."See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
