The world's biggest battery maker CATL announced a high density battery twice as good a current batteries and even good enough for aircraft. This while they debut sodium-ion batteries that have excellent cold weather performance and use less cobal and nickle. Canada gives billions to Volkswagen for a huge battery factory. Journalists at the Shanghai Motor Show are so astonished by the dominance and falling prices of EV, they ask, is there such a thing as too much of a good thing?
