Miriam Pollak Schwartz is a quiet hero of the Jewish community and beyond. She provides a home, resources, counselling and love for people who are in very dark places in life. What makes her even more remarkable is that she herself has faced a great deal of adversity in life. Despite this she has the most positive outlook on life, focused on being of service to others.
